Centre Of Gravity - Aerial Hoop Classes

*Aerial Hoop All Levels*

Whether you're stepping into the hoop for the first time or returning to expand your movement,
**Centre of Gravity** is your space to build strength, technique and confidence in the air.

This class includes foundational skills like mounts, balances, spins, shapes and transitions with
weekly progressions tailored to your level. You'll also work on active flexibility, conditioning and flow all essential for safe, expressive aerial movement.

Beginners are supported, returning students are challenged and everyone leaves feeling stronger, uplifted and grounded in their own power.

*Come back to your centre. Then rise from it.*

The Benefits of Aerial Hoop

  • You’ll build strength – Especially in your arms, core, and grip

  • It improves flexibility – Gently opens your hips, shoulders and spine

  • It challenges your balance – Teaches control and body awareness in the air

  • It’s creative and expressive – Movement becomes art

  • You’ll feel empowered – There’s nothing like lifting yourself up — literally

  • It’s beginner-friendly – You don’t need to be strong or flexible to start

  • You’ll learn new skills – Spins, poses, transitions — all at your pace

  • It’s fun and different – Aerial is equal parts challenge and play

  • You’ll find flow – Get lost in movement and focus on how it feels

  • It connects you to your body – Learn what you’re capable of and then go further

What To Wear

Comfort and coverage are key — you’ll be moving, hanging and sometimes flipping in the hoop, so wear clothes that support and protect your skin.

We recommend:

  • Leggings or fitted workout pants (to protect the backs of your knees and legs)

  • A fitted top that won’t ride up (bonus if it covers your armpits for extra comfort)

  • Long sleeves or layers (optional, but helpful for sensitive skin)

  • Bare feet or grippy socks

Avoid:

  • Loose clothing – it can get caught in the hoop

  • Zippers or buttons – they can damage the equipment

  • Lotion or oils – they make things slippery and unsafe

You don’t need to look a certain way. Just wear what helps you move and feel good. And bring water - you’re gonna need it.
