Our philosophy

LaKiTa is an all-inclusive, equal opportunities, fun and friendly studio who are welcoming to clients of all backgrounds and orientations. We welcome sex workers and trans-women. Students can wear whatever clothes they feel comfortable in to participate in our classes. We welcome students of all different shapes, ages and sizes. We stand for diversity and will not accept any exclusionary behaviour which makes our staff or students feel uncomfortable, unsafe or causes significant risk of harm to any participant, particularly relating to the 9 protected characteristics within the Equality Act (2010) but extending to body-shaming, slut-shaming, sex worker exclusionary or clothing-shaming behaviour or language.

Our studio is a place where we uplift, support, and celebrate each other. We have a strict no-bullying policy, which extends to both in studio and online conduct, concerning both our students and staff. LaKiTa will revoke the GoTeamUp accounts of any members found to be bullying any students or staff, or using language or conduct that makes staff or students feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We have never had to exclude anyone from our studio in the ten years we have been open. We pride ourselves on how friendy and inclusive we are. We are a family.

Each student is treated as an individual and we as instructors are here to help you acheive your goals no matter how big or small.

At LaKiTa we take a personalised approach to help you with all your self love, exercise, fitness or health needs. We can schedule a one-to-one meeting to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses and to develop the most beneficial workout routine to match your specific goals. We combine exercise, nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices so you can improve all aspects of your physical and mental well-being.
